（中央社加拿大艾德蒙頓4日綜合外電報導）當局提醒，加拿大城市麥克暮瑞堡今天仍飽受災難性野火威脅，已有8萬居民被迫逃離肆虐亞伯達省油砂區的猛烈大火。加拿大總理杜魯道表示損失規模難以想像。

目前並無這場兇猛火勢的死傷通報，大火吞噬住家與露營車園區，民眾紛紛逃生造成交通大亂。

但當局提醒未來24小時是關鍵。

總理杜魯道（Justin Trudeau）表示：「這場火絕對具毀滅性，損失規模對我們許多人而言難以想像。」

亞伯達省緊急事務機關昨天午夜前不久宣布，約10萬人口的麥克暮瑞堡市（Fort McMurray）強制撤離。

當地連夜傳出的畫面顯示，擠滿車輛的公路附近樹木燒成火海，火焰吞噬建築物，黑色濃煙不斷竄出。

亞伯達省農業森林部部長施密特（BernieSchmitte）表示，這場火已摧毀該市最外圍區域約2000棟住宅，並燒掉1萬公頃土地。

美國有線電視新聞網（CNN）網站報導，這場1日開始的大火原因仍不明。
